Dub's High on the Hog BBQ and Grill in Calhoun

If you want great food look no further than Dubs!! My mouth was water smelling the BBQ cooking as I walked in. I had one of the best steaks I’ve ever had from a restaurant and the ribs my wife got literally fell right off the bone! Great appetizers and sides too! Will definitely be coming back

Pulled pork Barbecue sandwich with original sauce on a hamburger is the way to go it is so good!

Love this place from the interior decor to the staff and the food! Enjoyed the pork sandwich and love them fries! I will definitely return again each time I’m in the mood for BBQ and have the opportunity. Thanks for your sweet southern hospitality and great fresh food.

My first time here and this place is packed for good reason. Great food and very friendly staff!

We went in as a party of 25 with our ball team for lunch. We were seated almost immediately. Excellent service and everyone's ticket was accurate. The food was liked by all. Prices were affordable and the establishment was very clean. Definitely recommended.

Great shredded pork sandwich. Perfect smoke flavor and tasty sauce. The ribs were great. They weren't fall off the bone tender but they were close enough.

We always love Dub's. Best fall off the bone ribs we've ever eaten. Nice atmosphere and service. I just wish they had some mac n cheese. We're happy overall with the selection of food.

Ribs were fantastic. Their rib sauce is better than what's on the table.

Food was very bland and tasteless. I Can suggest 3 other BBQ places with in 10 mins of here.

You want good bbq? Come to Dub's. No sign on the building. Just look for the red roof and the full parking lot.

You have to stop by and eat at Dub's if you're in the area. You can't go wrong with any item on the menu. My personal favorites are the hickory fries, grilled chicken salad and steaks. I personally eat here every week. You can't ask for a better staff that always goes above and beyond. You'll be treated like family whether it's your 1st time visiting or your 931st time visiting.

I had the pork platter with slaw and Brunswick Stew. Pork was tasty, slaw was crunchy, and the I enjoyed the flavors in the stew.

The staff were ok but there not use to people of color I was were nervous there

Okay so my mom and I have been on a trip all this week and everywhere we've stopped has been either lackluster or straight up inedible. So we were nervous about trying another local restaurant. But I'm glad we did. This place has the best barbeque I've had in a long time. Definitely go here if you get the chance. Fair warning, there was no signage that we could see so it's a bit hard to pinpoint. But it's worth it. :D

My wife and I are there today for the first time and really enjoyed it. We will go back !

Amazing BBQ and atmosphere. Service was sub-par on my last visit, but I won't hold it against them. I recommend the Hickory Fries, they are excellent and great to share.

THE BEST RIBS AND RIBEYE YOU WILL EVER EAT!!!! I live in Woodstock, GA, and my wife and I make it a point to drive up a couple times a month!! The food is always amazing!! They have incredible wait staff and a great atmosphere! GO DAWGS!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

Just to respond to JT and owner I was other person involved in the stop at the door in front of everyone and say let’s go back and look at you bill . After we got to the podium owner said we had wrong ticket but you may have paid too much . She started totaling out ticket and said here is correct amount and circled it and starting tapping it . $77.83 Then said never mind it only about $5 dollars merry Christmas. So we headed out door . When I got to car I said no so I turned around and went back in and she was totaling more tickets and dropped one and I picked it up and said here is $5 more dollars hope that’s good and walked away . The bill we paid was $74.43I left $10.00 tip My daughter left $5.00 tip on top of that Then I gave another $5.00So total we paid was $94.43 Just don’t think $3.40 was worth the embarrassment , when we had already tipped $15.00 then I went back and gave $5.00 more .

Loved the bbq but wasnt fond of the fries or cole slaw

Not impressed. BBQ was flavorless unless you put the sauce on it and both the sauce options tasted the same - like sugar and ketchup. The onion rings were frozen and so we're the French fries. The appetizer was half the portion you receive anywhere else. The service was fine and the entree portions were large. I wouldn't recommend it to for a great dining experience, but it's food and you will leave full if you eat everything.

Great portions and dont forget the coconut cake. WOW! Yall are always nice to my parents and I appreciate that. Thanks for being open through all this craziness.

Will never go back. Went for a meal with family and was treated like a criminal at checkout after paying. In front of a busy Friday night crowd while walking out the door she proceeds to cut us off. I THINK WE OVERCHARGED YOU WE NEED TO CHECK YOUR BILL...we all 5 return to the counter for her to write it out and then circle it and then turn it over..Oh it’s maybe a $5 difference you owe us! Merry Christmas she says!!! In shock after my father paid $59 and I paid $15.. After all the stares and embarrassment my father gives her $5 cash. The sad part about it is the $15 tip we left could of easily saved the embarrassment she caused us of “accusing” us that we did not pay.

The most amazing BBQ, Ribs, and Steaks in the area!! We travel from Dalton often to eat at Dub’s. We love it. We have had them cater for us and have always been pleased. The service is wonderful, the owners are great, the food is delicious. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

Delicious food. My bbq spud was huge! Definitely enough to feed two people. The mozzarella sticks were fresh and tasty and I loved the baked beans.

Been all over the southeast and have never had BBQ like this. I couldn't decide between steak and ribs.... so I got both 😅 Best decision ever. With that being said, go there with an empty stomach and prepare for some of the best BBQ you've ever had.

After a long day on the road from Ohio, decided this was the spot for dinner. Excellent choice! I did pass it and have to turn around, but it was totally worth it! Brittany was a wonderful host and server, something we usually don’t get. The bbq was all wonderful and cooked great! Sauces were tasty and they cover sweet to pretty spicy! The brisket, chicken, ribs, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and both slaws were very filling and excellent tasting! I got a pecan cobbler to go, was too full to eat it. I highly recommend this place!

We have always enjoyed our trips to Dubs. The food is good and the service is friendly, warm, and attentive. Even though this is a BBQ restaurant they serve one of the best steaks in Calhoun. We have never been disappointed at Dubs.
